kMSt ver. 1.2.427 – Warrior Reorganization!

In this patch, warriors received a reorganization, although I use that term loosely because there’s seriously not a lot of changes… it’s sort of boring.

Anyways, there’s also an event for them (which gives out an earring/ring/weapon similar to Mikhail) and a new iteration of the Ancient Artifact event, but as always, read about that when it comes to the real server!

Spiegelmann’s Strange Gallery’s reward, the Spiegelmann’s Decorated Shoulderpad now comes with better stats.

Characters with locked items cannot be deleted! This is really cool, now I have to keep at least one thing locked at all times haha.

Warrior

  • Power Strike (1st): damage has been increased from 220% to 260%
  • Slash Blast (1st): damage has been increased from 280% to 300%
  • Stance (4th): chance to not be knocked back has been increased from 95% to 100%
  • Rush (4th): damage has been increased from 300% to 500%

Fighter

  • NEW SKILL: Brandish: Attack up to 3 monsters in front of you for 210% damage twice, while ignoring 20% defense. (max level: 20)
  • Rage: duration has been increased from 155 seconds to 180 seconds, now stacks with other attack buffs

Crusader

  • NEW SKILL: Brave Slash: Attack up to 4 monsters in front of you for 240% damage three times (max level: 20)
  • NEW SKILL: Endure: Increase your resistance to states by 20% (max level: 20)
  • Self Recovery: HP healed has been increased from 100 HP to 400 HP
  • MOVED SKILL: Brandish

Hero

  • NEW SKILL: Raging Blow: Attack up to 6 enemies in front of you for 220% damage five times. The final attack will always be a critical hit. (max level: 30)
  • MOVED SKILL: Brave Slash

White Knight/Paladin

  • Elemental damage is no longer halved on bosses

White Knight

  • Shield Mastery: guard chance has been increased from 10% to 20%

Paladin

  • NEW SKILL: Monster Magnet: Pull up to 6 monsters in front of you and hit them for 350% damage while stunning them for 5 seconds. (max level: 30)
  • Blast:damage has been increased from 260% to 280%
  • Blessing Armor: chance to activate has been increased from 30% to 50%
  • Advanced Charge: now gives a 10% chance of instant death when using Charge Blow
  • Sanctuary: number of attacks has been increased from 1 to 4, damage has been decreased from 1700%  to 425%

Dragon Knight

  • NEW SKILL: Endure: Increase your resistance to states by 20% (max level: 20)
  • Dragon Buster: damage has been increased from 200% to 220%
  • Dragon Thrasher: damage has been increased from 450% to 550%
  • Sacrifice: damage has been decreased from 400% to 270%, number of attacks has been increased from 2 to 3

Dark Knight

  • Dark Impale: damage has been increased from 180% to 190%
  • Beholder’s Revenge:time in between Beholder’s attacks has been decreased from 5 seconds to 4 seconds

Soul Master

  • Rage (2nd): duration has been increased from 155 seconds to 180 seconds, now stacks with other attack buffs
  • Soul Blade (2nd): damage has been decreased from 370% to 360%

  • NEW SKILL: Brandish (2nd): Attack up to 3 monsters in front of you for 210% damage twice, while ignoring 20% defense. (max level: 20)
  • Soul Charge (3rd): name has been changed to Shining Charge
  • Soul Driver (3rd): delay has been shortened (this also applies to Mikhail and Ultimate Adventurers)

  • NEW SKILL: Brave Slash: Attack up to 4 monsters in front of you for 240% damage three times (max level: 20)
  • Self Recovery: HP healed has been increased from 100 HP to 200 HP

Mikhail

  • Soul Driver (2nd): delay has been shortened (this also applies to Soul Masters and Ultimate Explorers)
  • Soul Assault (4th): damage has been increased from 320% to 360%

    FINALLY!!!!!!!!! It’s gotten through their heads (slightly) that 100 HP recovery every 4 seconds is nearly useless!! 540 HP per 4 seconds!! Huzzah!!
    Anywho, I guess the new attack is cool, but Heroes are now stepping into Dark Knight territory, and I don’t like that (being both a Hero and Dark Knight) because we’re looking like we’ll be more on par in mobbing. I wish they would throw a bone to shielded Heroes. If a class can use a shield, give them the opportunity and incentive to do so, I say.
    The Dark Knight “buff” makes me gag, it’s disgusting.

    The Paladin and Dark Knight revamps are clearly just damage increases… Nothing more. I would even go to say what they did was unfair by reorganizing the Heros in 2nd and 3rd job. That’s not to say that it wasn’t needed; just that they should have done the same for Paladins and Dark Knights.

    Something I will never understand is why they have made Slash Blast(mob) 300% damage while Power Strike(1v1) is 260%….. Makes the 1v1 skill irrelevant to be honest.

    All in all, the revamp at least helped fix the Hero job; they just need to apply the concept to the other two warriors. The only thing I dislike is how unoriginal the new 4th job skill is for Heros. They could at least be a little more creative…. Seems more Paladin suited anyways.

    Finally, I’d say the warriors are back where they are suppose to be:
    Hero as the Offender
    Paladin as the Defender
    Dark Knight as the Supporter

    Seriously though, people that are whining about how Paladins are not on par in terms of damage need to go home.
    Paladin is a defensive class and is not meant to dish out high damage.
    If you want to play an offensive swordsman, choose a Hero.
    Plus, you do realize that Paladins are better at bossing than Dark Knights, right?

      And in order for paladins to train a bit faster, they added those instant kill chances (of which doesn’t apply to bosses).

      But that aside, I can’t believe the ridiculous amount of defense that Paladins have. Divine Shield’s proc chance just went up to 50%, and its cool down is only 30 seconds. And now Shield Mastery has 20% chance to block? So adding that up:

      Shield Mastery block = 20%
      Guardian = 40%

      60% Chance to block is a lot.

        -facedesk- Firstly, everyone and their mother knows paladins are the tanks of the game. You just can’t argue against that. Secondly, Mikhail isn’t all the “OP!”. They don’t have combo attack and besides, after this revamp heros will be MUCH better. Thirdly, one does not simply compare arans to heros. Heros are beast at 1v1, while arans are god at mobbing. You should know this.

    Granted, Paladins are quite formidable when i comes to defense, but the fact remains that heroes are VASTLY superior in 1v1
    Someone did the calculations ob basil, in which, wven when facing a boss that is both holy and lightning charge weak, i.e. Eckhart, when paladins will be their strongest in attack power, heroes still out damage paladins by over 200%, meaning doing more than 2x the damage….when paladins are at their strongest….

    does that make any sense to you? also, the defense point becomes more and more invalid the more funded the paladin/hero/dark knight is, because strength, post bb, gives defense as wekk

He states that he sees Paladins as the Defenders, which you confirmed in your statement, and Heroes as the Offenders, which you assert by addressing their 1v1 abilities. Naturally, an “Offender” would have more offense than a Defender, and a Defender would have more Defense than the Offender. Long story short, you argued the same point, but with different tone.

    they fixed heroes but now what about drks, raging blow hits 6 times like impale but its 30% stronger like wtf?

          Another retard i see here. Drks were never meant for damage -.-. The reason why they are sort of a support is because of HB and IW pre bb and stuff. “Support classes? What the hell is that?” LOL, ever heard of bishops,bams etc? Seriously. Comparing a hero to a Drk is like comparing merc/ds/evan to a bishop for damage, obviously the bishop will have the lowest dpm.

            Since IW is crap now, damage from bosses lowered, surviving made easier etc. HB is only useful for classes with low HP without undispellable decent Hyper Body.

            Combat Orders and Threaten is never detrimental (after 8 mobs Pierce is no longer glitched right?) unlike Hyper Body where it buffs over decent Hyper Body.

            Rage becomes stackable and its duration increased (finally!).

            As far as I’m concerned Dark Knights aren’t as supportive as you think they are compared to Heroes and Paladins.

    i think you missed my argument in saying that despite their roles, a hero shouldn’t do THAT much more than a paladin.

      Rather, if Heroes are gonna do THAT much more damage than a Paladin, Paladins should receive some sort of supportive upgrade that actually makes their tank-ish nature useful to the party to compensate.

      Also, Dark Knights are wayyy too underpowered now.

    And honestly there is no need for a paladin ATM apart from co bits that’s not even needed

      I was sort of thinking this as well make Paladin’s more of a tank class. Like Axe in DotA or something where he can make other mobs attack him instead. But the problem is most attacks from monsters are area affect and not a single target thing.

      It’s a great idea but I think it won’t happen sadly.

    Nexon is really going about this the wrong way with revamping warriors. Revamping does not always have to include damage increase!

    Sometimes, they just need to change some skills around, and that’s it! For example, I’d move rush and monster magnet down to 2nd job. Why? Because, since warriors do not received stance until 4th job, they then need some kind of skill that will hasten their earlier levels to keep up with other classes. Even with soul rush, it’s still not that fast in training wise without stance or some kind of push-pull mob skill. I would know because I have a dawn warrior; and he is awfully boring and slow without stance. Or another example is my brother’s own drk. He is currently training at roids, and boy, does he have a hard time? The map is pretty big for him, especially with really low mobility. Not to mention, when he tries to mob, he gets hit, knocking him back which is a real challenge as he has to walk PASS the monster to continue mobbing to form a bigger mob before killing it. This common way of mobbing for almost everyone is extremely difficult for warriors now compare to other classes. I mean, it would literally take my brother 20-30 seconds to get to the other side of the Riods map. That may not sound long in writing, but believe me, it really is compared to every other class.

    I’ll further explain it. Mages has teleport, which they can just tele+cast to mob. Archers in 3rd job now have a really strong AOE skill including a Flash Jump like skill. Cb’s and sins have their haste, Flash jump, and shadowpartner to speed up their training. Bucc’s have rushing skill since 2nd job, as well as speed increase from transformation. Corsairs has range and backwards jump to help them navigate. I won’t even bother mentioning about other classes because they are even better in mobility wise – and you eventually get it by now and hopefully see my point and pain for warriors in the early levels.

    Second thing I would change is move stance down to 3rd job. Moving it down to 3rd job is so critical because that’s when the maps are starting to get bigger and the platforms getting smaller. Warriors needs to ground themselves without falling, as its a real pain to have to climb up, only to fall down.

    I can’t really speak for other warriors, but as far as Drk goes, I think our damage % is fair. But one thing I would change is beholder’s aura. that skill needs to start healing by percent hp, not by 400. Its now one of the most useless skill in my opinion. And because we had our achillies skill removed, we now need that skill more than ever to be a better skill so we can actually boss and possibily survive a 1/1+seduce situation.

    There’s also a need to change Drks by adding in a new support skill in 4th job such as Advance Hyper Body for example – which will redefine the Drk’s role. Because lets face it, Drk’s currently have no roles. They are neither damage dealer, nor mobber, nor support. Because as far as I can see, plenty of other classes can now do the same as Drks and sometimes, even better(ie: BaM, Aran, Merc, Heroes, etc…)!

    So don’t increase damage as its not always the answer! Just move some skills around for warriors to become more EFFICIENT and maybe even add a skill to the class that will ACTUALLY benefit the class (Attacking skill does not always solve the answer!).

    In conclusion, adding in new skills can wait, at least for me. I just honestly believe they need to change rush, monster magnet, and stance around for all adventure warriors. it will honestly balance everything out by making warriors more comparable to other classes, especially with other new warrior classes. And the thing is, its such an easy fix that requires NO skill damage increase or what-so-ever!

    I wait the Revamp of Warriors always… but i see videos of this Patch and the Skill Advanced Combo is removed ( or in the KMST there isn’t this Skill)
    PD: Someone can say me if Advanced Combo of Hero Job is Removed?

      It’s not that, it’s the fact that it is a skill book. So you have to go hunt Zak for one, and most of the people there don’t bother with that just checking out the new skills.

    Just hoped that hero’s skill have increased range and can hit more mobs. Most new jobs can hit 6-8 mobs with 1st job skills. And yet this job? still 4 mobs in 3rd job and absolutely miniscule range….. kinda disappointing

    Since IW is crap now, damage from bosses lowered, surviving made easier etc. HB is only useful for classes with low HP without undispellable decent Hyper Body.
    Combat Orders and Threaten is never detrimental (after 8 mobs Pierce is no longer glitched right?) unlike Hyper Body where it buffs over decent Hyper Body.
    Rage becomes stackable and its duration increased (finally!).
    As far as I’m concerned Dark Knights aren’t as supportive as you think they are compared to Heroes and Paladins.

    I said pre bb when they were sort of a support class. Can’t you read? Also, paladins are defense classes and heroes are damage dealers. Before this revamp heroes were good 1v1
    but decent mobbing as IS only hit 4 mobs while Drks were decent 1v1 but beat heros in mobbing since DI hits 6 mobs. However, nexon loves heros the most and gave it the biggest buff as now RB hits 6 mobs 5 times at 220%, increasing their 1v1 and mobbing. Also, Drks is a class thats like hanging on a cliff. They lack support skills so they can’t be at least half support, let alone full support. Their damage isn’t that spectacular so their sort of a hybrid of support and pure dpm.

      Oh one more thing, yes paladins and heroes might have rage, CO etc, their role is still a defense class and dpm class respectively. An example is like, if a bishop has over 200% int and deal max damage with AR, that doesn’t change the fact that bishops are a support class and not a damage dealing class.

    Not that it is really important, but if I am not wrong you swapped the damage around. 220% to 260% should be for Slash Blast, and 280% to 300% should be for Power Strike.
