Demon Slayer Clarification & Thief/Pirate Jump (UPDATED)

Recently a friend came across an article by mazefind and a post on Maple Inven about the new class Demon Slayer and was nice enough to let me know about it! Upon reading it, I realized that I was wrong! Demon Slayers do not ONLY use one-handed blunt weapons!
I’m very sorry about the constant updates, and how I was wrong about it at first. I’ll make sure to triple check after every post from now on…
Demon Slayers have a choice between two weapons. One is the one handed blunt weapon, and the other is a new weapon called a sceptre (홀), which can be classified as a blunt weapon but it’s a new type. Sorry about my mistake, but at least you won’t have to sell off your blunt weapons if you’ve bought them already!
Also, the Force Shield of a Demon Slayer is not an equipment but a fusion of their physical being and the shield. It holds the Demon Slayer’s Demon Force, which he collects by attacking monsters.
Now all three classes from the Legend Update will all have new weapon types associated with them! How interesting…
Nexon has said that the Thief/Pirate class Jump updates were postponed. Users should not worry and balancing will continue! There are also talks about a Super Fight revamp.
P.S. I got the Pink Beach Parasol chair! I also added a chair inventory on my About page so you can track my progress, haha.

Wowww new weapons entirely! No wonder they had to add new recipes recently. Too bad the Demon Slayers don’t use axes!! That would have totally bad ass. . . .I wonder if this “hole” thing is more like a staff? Really weird!
This hole thing translated for me to a baton,scepter,hole and wand i think the others are more reasonable then the hole.
Oh that’s true, I just thought it would be like the other weapons and just be ‘konglish’, haha. I’ll change that.
Not sure how you made the mistake. They clearly said the three new classes would have all new weapons.
Wow they just have to release no type of weapons -_-. it’s just to scam of more nx from us to spend on cubes. Don’t they realize the unused weapons (bw and axes -_-?)
How sad for you to make a mistake as critical as this, I doubt Spadow wouldn’t made a mistake like this or at least he wouldn’t wait so long to change it…

To make a mistake is human, but so is catching the mistake.
Part of being human is also independence don’t rely solely on others for information, use your own mind, and maybe you won’t look to pathetically useless.
If we are unable to rely on information given to us, then how are we ever suppose to have basis of logic? What knowledge or abilities would our mind hold without educators showing it to us first? When it comes to KMST, the whole MS English community solely relies on others for information. If there was some alternate technique to gain accurate information about KMST, I’m pretty sure most of us would take advantage of it.

Dam, I still have m 134 attack Crushed Skull, level 120 1H Blunt Weapon, but I don’t use it anymore on my Paladin. I guess I can save it until the BW prices went up, if I want to sell it.

With as little information as he could get, you can’t blame the guy, it looked like a one-handed mace, and you can admit that, like the previous guy said, it was a mistake, now don’t go bashing on something like this. You can’t compare two bloggers to each other when one is trying his best to start out in the footsteps of Spadow, am I right? Spadow has his mistakes, and so would any other blogger. Just don’t bring it out on the guy, at least we get the info from him, am I right?

I’m not bashing, at least that’s not my intent. I’m just disappointed that he didn’t go over the translation later or at least could of warned us that it could possibly be wrong. I bet the players in GMS that were saving up BW/mace scrolls are disappointed too.
And in my opinion, it doesn’t look like a mace at all, it looks more like an axe than a mace.
How on earth does it look like an axe when there is an additional blade pointing out of the page (it’s slightly angled, so you can tell it’s a blade like the other two)?
From the maces I’ve seen, most of them are shaped as a sphere. And rarely I have seen any sharp edges to them, and from those, none of them point in the direction of the handle.
It looks like an axe to me because it’s similar to the blue counter and the unwelcome guest/VIP axes, in which there are blades coming out on both sides.

Lol, even if it wasn’t your intent to bash him, you simply did. Learn your mistakes. He has mentioned countless times that he is not a KMST player, so it’s only human to make mistakes without access to the official resource.
Stop attempting to predict what GMS players are doing and not doing. Your predictions are 85% of the time wrong, even when you post them on BasilMarket, with what you call ‘proof’. The class hasn’t even been released into the official server, so I doubt GMS players are already ‘stocking up’. The moment people start stocking up is when, it hits the official server in KMS.
Additionally, stop comparing the two, because they are not the same. They are two completely different people. Spadow in fact, has made a few mistakes in the past, so don’t say he hasn’t. Nobody is perfect. You should really think about what you spill out of your mouth next time.

the whole ms english community dosen’t solely rely on others on info. We sometimes just try to figure it out ourselves and some know korean. Alternate technique would be learn korean.
When I said English community, I didn’t mean to include Korean readers. Aside from that, there’s only google translate, which really isn’t accurate. Fiel has a google translate link on all of his KMS extraction threads, when I attempt to use it. The letters come out in English, but not the words…
Oh shit…. i Got 80 60% scrolls and 2 purple tag bw … damn. Hopefully bw scrolls can be used on skepters

Blogs are secondary sources, nothing wrong with relying on others info, but at least get it from somewhere reliable.
May I ask where you would find a reliable English source?
Sorry about my mistake… but in the actual Q&A it said that they can use other warrior weapons, and scepter can also be translated as blunt weapon…
Also, this data is not in kMSt yet, lots of things can be changed.
That’s alright, it just that I am research writing class. And if I wrote a research paper about KMS or KMST, these blogs are the closest the English community will get to an academic journal. And for a academic journal to make such a mistake could harm the reputation of the author and editor.
It feels like Spadow left somewhat a professional standard for KMST blogs until he started to run out of time to write his own blogs. I was kinda hoping his successors would continue the tradition. Perhaps I’m just asking for too much for that to happen.
Yeah you are, but since you have the time to post so much comments why not learn korean yourself or use online translator on KMS site and make good use of time.

I’d like to say a few things for all the bashers/haters……
1. Nexon Korea did reveal the new weapon as a blunt weapon, it’s new name being 홀(pronounced hol, aka scepter). So technically max is not at fault. Arguing about this is as useless as arguing about whether dagger = katara since these two weapons together are called dual blades.
2. Never did Max guarentee that he would be bringing always-correct information as you assume Max does. He said in his “About Me” page that he hoped to be brining you the latest content released on KMS(T). And I guess most of us can agree that Max is doing his job very well so far?
And as far as I’m concerned, there are no shortages of blogs on KMS(T). As a human being, you have the freedom of choice. If you don’t like this one, move on to the next one! Don’t make others feel bad because he/or she made a simple mistake that anyone else could have made; the info released was very vague at first because the critical Q&A section was not broadcast via internet. At least Max had the balls to come out and admit unlike those of you who just can’t give the guy a break.
For those of you that bought One hand blunt weapons (in anywhere else other than KMS)…….
There is still a lot of time till the Legend Update hits your region. Try selling them a little higher than what you bought for and hope that they don’t read blogs xD

i will make the prediction that scepters will have the ability to store more demon force and are able to gather it faster. BUT will have smaller attack values than blunt weapons.
in my view, this is a perfect way for nexon to make money.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the weapon doesn’t hold the demon force, it is the force shield if I’m correct. Although I would definitely want to see the difference from sceptres and 1h bws. Off topic, I see 2h blunt weapons are still useless…

Anywho, I’m definitely going to go sceptre because I don’t wanna swing a hammer! I wanna swing a non-hammer weapon! No doubt one-hand blunt weapon stuff will inflate regardless, so why bother? I still could use the few blunt weapons I have, but that won’t carry me past level 80, hahaha. Definitely looking forward to Demon Slayer.

제가 여러 뉴스를 종합해보면 한 손에는 ‘홀’ or ‘둔기’를 착용하고 한 손에는 ‘포스 실드’를 착용하는 것이 맞을 듯 합니다. 다만, 이 내용은 아직 KMST에도 나오지 않은 내용이기 때문에 굳이 예측을 할 필요는 없을지도 모르겠습니다.

It will most likely not share inventories, since the two other jobs with it (Cannon Shooter & Mercedes) don’t share inventories with their respective races.
