The Autumn Harvest Festival Event!
The Autumn Harvest Festival has begun! Someone asked if there was a wallpaper version of the server select screen I posted before, and today on the MapleStory homepage, I found this~ You can see the Cannon Shooter’s rejection in high quality!
With the large amount of new quests, a new notification icon has been added for this event~
The first part of the Autumn Harvest Festival is an abundance of experience! From September 10 to September 13, there will be 2x experience from 1 pm to 4pm! And that’s not all! You also get 2 2x Experience Coupons on each day!
Each day you can make a wish to the Grandfather Moon Bunny and choose an item you wish to receive. You can only receive a specific item 3 times over the course of this event!
- Gold Hammer 50%
- Special Potential Scroll (100% success rate)
- Clean Slate Scroll 10%
- Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scroll
- Armor for Attack/Magic Attack Scroll (choose 1)
- One-handed/Two-handed Weapon for Attack/Magic Attack Scrolls (choose 1)
- Armor for Stat Scrolls (choose 1)
- Rice Cake Ice Chair
To get your item, you must collect 30 Wish Papers from monsters around your level! Hand them in and you’ll receive the item you chose from the Grandfather Moon Bunny~
This event also comes with some titles! If you do the event for one day, you get The Moon is Rising, Let’s Go title. At three days, you get title. And at 7 days, you get the Are You Looking at the Moon? title.
Gaga wants you to capture some of the moonlight! Hold an Empty Bottle for 30 minutes and give him back a Moonlit Bottle to get an Abundant Autumn Harvest Festival buff! The buff depends on your level, for anyone level 71 or above, it gives 40 attack and magic attack, 800 HP and MP, and 40 speed for 30 minutes.
Another big part of the Autumn Harvest Festival are rice cakes! You have to collect sets of them, different colours, an increasing amount of times to get prizes! Each time you collect a set, you get experience, but when you finish all the sets of one colour, you get a special prize!
- White Rice Cakes (3 times): 1.5x Experience Coupon
- Green Rice Cakes (5 times): 1.5x Experience Coupon
- Pink Rice Cakes (7 times): 1.5x Experience Coupon
- Gold Rice Cakes (10 times): Gold Rice Cake Necklace (6 to all stats, 1 attack and magic attack, 50 defense and magic defense, 4 slots, can be traded through the account once by the Share Name Tag)
Instead of giving you a journal, you can check your progress by opening the Event Calendar and pressing the Attendance button!
You can also find the Giant Moon Bunnies from 10 am to midnight daily, and defeat them for a Autumn Harvest Festival Gift Box which you can open for prizes!

What event is that When u press the yes button the npc(is cassandra I think) talk to you and then there are 2 options: the both she say something and back to this 2 options.
That starts the Rice Cake quest, I believe you have to choose the second option then the first option

Max,help!!how come can’t I get those wish papers?my character lvl is 100 and I dispatch lots of lvl 103& lvl 105 mobs but get nothing.

Completely agreed, events in gms are just cs sales and stuff, or repeats of old events such as golden compass -_-

Why does KMS have so many events? I like GMS a lot, but then it isn’t as spectacular as KMS.
I know people are checking this site everyday to check if KMS is going to release a thief and pirate revamp (lol I know I do)

GMS giving the daily scrolls… no never. i think.
Even with all the hackings and such happening currently in GMS, the new content that KMS receives before we do is always a good motivator.
I’m excited, and cannot wait until GMS gets content like the revamped Dojo and Carnival.

You realise, that making an account requires a KSSN, right?
This. Each account requiring a KSSN makes it harder to have multiple accounts. Getting someone else’s KSSN without their permission is also against the law.
Destroy the ability to easily make alternate accounts along with handing out permanent bans, and it will destroy the majority of hacking.
Max.Can you please tell me did you recieve extra character slots at the arrival of legend update?
Cuz it would really suck if I want to make all 3 of them and have no slots.
We got one free slot after the first patch of the Legend update, and a second free slot if you were logged in during one of the Hot Times (don’t remember which).

You right if dual blade are already using 2 dagger then nexon will think something new like chain or punch

GMS is just there for real money harvesting, and ‘ barely-there “events” ‘. `-` Yes, I do realize kms requires a kssn, but NoA doens’t do anything, it’s like they’ve given up on broken stuff(horntail, cwkpq) and let the hackers roam until a “ban list” is proc’d. Don’t they even know that with every ban list, that there is at least 2 times the hackers appearing in place of those banned? Guess not.
Also, what does the golden hammer 50% do?
kMS’ hammers are different from gMS. They are not Cash Shop items, coming from events basically, and they can only be used once on an item (pass or fail). Therefore, we can only add 1 slot to an item MAX. If a hammer fails on item, you cannot use anymore. There’s a couple 100% hammers but they are very rare~

It’s the same because for a 32-bit game the max of everything is +2.1b and -2.1b but nexon just use the + one.
The meso cap could be 4.2b
2147483647 for 32-bits all 1’s??So,it is unchangeable?
No he means that a signed 32-bit integer also holds negative values and mesos can’t be negative anyway.
But they can make it so the -2.1b is also with the +2.1b or something like that, oe at least that’s what I saw on basil.
Then again, you could also argue that they could have used any other primitive data type:

I’m jelly. However, that means that it will be very easy to leech in gMS. In my alliance, there were a couple of people who went to Ellin Forest at very low levels, hit a monster once and let their party kill it to gain massive experience.
Question is whether or not we’ll get EllinForest and Neo City. Our big problem is overflowing bearwolf an crocky glitched channels. Its a sight to behold.
