Great Maple Sports Meet!

Another festival in the Maple world has begun! It’s the Great Maple Sports Meet! Under a blue autumn sky, come join in on the fun~ The event runs from October 4 to October 26!

You’ll notice that all the event NPCs (plus a couple more) play a part in this event! (except for the Maple Admin, who just stands around with her megaphone…)

This whole event is centered around the collection of Sports Meet Coins! To get you started, each day, Cassandra will give you one coin for free~

Wonky also wants to join the sports meet (and look good while doing it…?)! Help him collect food so he can be ready~ After collecting 30 of one item (randomly chosen) from monsters around your level, you can hand them to Wonky to receive experience and a random buff.

Like always, the buff’s stats depend on your level. However, for this quest, there’s two buffs for each level range! And the one you get is randomly chosen. The Sports Meet Star Wonky’s Blessing (for levels 71+) gives 40 attack and magic attack, 20 speed, and 10 jump for 30 minutes while the Sports Meet Star Wonky’s Special Blessing gives 80 attack and magic attack (along with the other stats)!

Next up is Gaga! Help him refresh the atheletes by holding a Sports Drink for 30 minutes to get an Ice Cold Sports Drink! After handing it in to Gaga, you get experience and a Sports Meet Coin.

Ferdi is the one that in charge of this event~ Every hour at XX:05 and XX:35, you’ll receive a letter that moves you to this event map.  Here, you must defeat the Party Ball boss! If you can defeat it in time, you’ll receive 3~5 Sports Meet Coins, and if not, you’ll receive only 2.

This event will only run until October 14, after which, two new events will replace it.

• Pink Coin Purse (50 coins): A coin purse in which you can store up to 8 kinds of coins.

The equipment also comes with the Sports Meet Champion set bonus! All equipment, except for the earrings and pendant, are included in this set.

When you wear 3 of the set items, you get a bonus of 3 to all stats and 100 HP and MP. With 4, you get 5 to all stats and 5 attack and magic attack. 5 gives you 6 to all stats, 150 HP and MP, and 5 attack and magic attack. With all 6, you get a final bonus of 7 to all stats, 200 HP and MP, 5 attack and magic attack, and 5 speed!

Also, if you didn’t notice, those are level 80 pants, meaning all classes can now get Decent Hyper Body (if you’re willing to spend the money on cubes of course)~

These scrolls can only be used on the Sports Meet Champion equipment! None of them break your equipment if failed.

This event also gives a stamp on your Event Card! To get the stamp, you must collect 100 coins! Coins that you have used to buy items with will also be counted.

And that’s not all! This is only part 1 of the event! On October 15, part 2 will be released~ It includes Tug-of-War and Hourly Monster Hunting events!
