Hmm.. perhaps a warrior revamp? It does look a lot like Mikhail, the warrior Cygnus instructor, so maybe something to do with Cygnus? Only time will tell!

Most of maplestory players are 13 year old children, and thus they do fall into the recondite category of “littler virgin”, however invidious it may be. Also, confirmed new class called “Mikhail”.

It’s not going to be a 4th job for Dawn Warriors. Dawn Warrior is a carbon copy of Hero with a splash of Paladin with almost no skills that originate to itself. Soul (Troll) Drive is about it. Then if it were 4th job, it would just turn into a disaster because in order to negate being OP, they’d have to remove the extra 70 AP from levels 1-70. Plus, what would they do? They’d have to design a whole new set of skills for Dawn Warrior to avoid making Hero obsolete. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s not a likely scenario.
Hmm, a Warrior revamp? I certainly hope so. Heroes are so drab right now, I have more fun on a Paladin or (expectantly) Dark Knight. Seeing the shield, I’m concluding that it’s not a Dawn Warrior thing since Dawn Warriors have no use for a shield. Ultimate (and incredibly unlikely) hope: Heroes get shield skills back.

After noting the caption to said diary, I have a couple corrections to make. This will most likely include Dawn Warriors and perhaps make them somewhat original (noting that there’s a shield on this supposed Dawn Warrior’s arm). Still hoping for my incredibly unlikely Hero-possibilities.
Like a soul shield and soul force… nah, too much like a Demon Slayer.

I believe this revamp would go mostly for Dawn Warriors. Though, the other warrior classes might get some neat stuff as well.

So this is either a Dawn Warrior revamp, a general Dawn/Adventurer Warrior revamp or a general Cygnus revamp.
The Cygnus Knights badly need a revamp, though. They’re not really worth it without 4th jobs.
I just want to point out that the whole point of the Knights of Cygnus is to help new players get used to the game, and more recently for more experienced players to gain Empress’ Blessing/ make Ultimate Adventurers. They aren’t really supposed to be a main character type of class. Just something to do for a desired cause; whether it be learning the game or getting 30 wep/magic att.
A revamp seems really pointless in my opinion. I don’t see why Nexon feels the need to change things every month. -_- But this does look like an update geared toward Dawn Warriors.

Its the shield people, notice where it is on his arm? its not a “shield” as such it looks like the demon aegis, this could be the start of giving all Cygnus Knights “unique” gameplay, by unique i men arans combo system, phantoms card system, etc. Or, just another revamp.
Yes! Been wanting for this a long time. I’m really looking forward to what they do drk – i hope it becomes a better supportive class.
Heroes atm is a power house.
Pally is a tanker and survivalists.
Drk is… well, honestly i don’t know what drks are now. Some still refer to them as a support class. I don’t. Just because one party skill is usefull does not quailfy as a support class to me as every other class has a party skill that is just as good as hb as in term of usefulness. For example, Adv DarK aura from BAM is damn good to have. How about SE? Or what about adv bless?
You see what Im saying? If drk is consider as a support class, then so is every other class other there.
What I hope for to happen is that drk DOES become a support class since the power house and tanker role has already been taken. But if so, it would be really nice for drks to have more support skill than just hb. Maybe adv HB? this way the 30k mark hp can be easily surpass by normal warriors who didn’t hp wash.
perhaps remove soul rush from warrior class, move rush down to 2nd job, and make it exactly like Demon Slayer’s rush skill? I mean, why not? EVERY warrior has been asking for that for the longest time and it makes completely sense.
Anyways, I hope that that this revamp will be good that gives each warrior a more define role. Its something that I have been looking forward too since the release of Demon Slayer considering how much better demon slayers are.
So you say they aren’t support and then use as evidence the fact that two classes who are clearly supportive in nature have skills that are supportive? Yeah…..
BaMs and Bishops are THE support classes in this game so I don’t know why you picked them to use as an example. I get your point but you just picked really bad examples.
Anyway. The reason people say they are supportive (although I prefer to call them hybrid support/attackers) is because A) they were just that pre-BB when HB was needed and B) because their skills look like that is what they were intended to be. Are they right now? Not really.
I do agree that it would be nice if Nexon decided to find a role for them and make them good at that role whether that is Support or something else.
Also I’m pretty sure this patch is going to be about Dawn Warriors or CK in general (whether a revamp or added content) and not warriors in general.

All of you getting excited for a warrior revamp should stfu cause it is not happening nor is it even needed (They’re all pretty high in DPM charts and the weakest- Paladin-can survive anything which in itself is a huge asset at high end bosses) I hope it is actually something interesting though as Cygnus are boring. Why waste time even revamping them? They’re not a main class.

That’s because their “job” is tanks.
There’s a reason why all good paladins are tankadins and all paladins that aren’t tankadins are loladins.
Anyhow, paladins are only 1/4 (1/5th kinda) light. They’ve got Ice, Lighting, and Fire (as well as neutral) charges that they use also. Holy Charge is bad, anyhow.

You do realize that warriors really don’t have 1v1 moves, though. IS is mobbing, DI is mobbing, Brandish is mobbing, OS is mobbing.

4th Warrior Branch = 83% likely

Like Mercedes, Aran, Phantom, Luffy and Evan, the 5 Knights of Cygnus are each getting their own playable class and storyline.

It says warrior of light, so i think its definitely Mikhail, I think it’s just a revamp, and his shield is similar to that of DS so…. maybe they will drastically change the class?

I know this sound crazy but remember the cygnus quest the one the empress tells u to go meet a fellow cygnus at temple of time regarding a rumour spreading in maple world about the knights betrayal (Future empress cygnus and all) the empress may have finally decided to take Nineheart’s advice and disband the knight formly found in pride to save the future and maple world but she mustnt be to hasty about this so instead of disbanding all of the knights she disbands only one at the time starting with our friends Mihile the warrior of light.
This may be the introduction of 5 new classes (the incorruptable knight) or the reintroduction of 5 old classes, in any way its expected that the knights of cygnus will join the lines of normal maplers and instead of finishing off at 120 they will finish at 200 and be like any other class altought i think that the choice will be given for knight to stay with 120 for limit and find ur way as an ultimate adventure or sacrifice ur stats and abilities in order to be reborn as a new found knight.
