kMS ver. 1.2.207 – The Forgotten Hero, EunWol!

ver. 1.2.207

The second patch of the You & I update has been released, featuring the sixth hero class, the Forgotten Hero, EunWol!

There are also a couple of new events and some (sort of odd…) teaser pictures for MapleStory 2!

EunWol Character Creation

EunWol is now open for creation! He has relatively high damage, very high defenses, average mobility, and low difficulty.

EunWol Character Creation Options

When creating EunWol, your only choice is going to be gender. All other options are not changeable.

EunWol Beginning

Hundreds of years ago, Maple World was in the hands of the Black Mage. A group of heroes gathered in order to seal away the powerful mage, but it required one of them to sacrifice their lives. EunWol, looking to protect his loved ones, gave his.

That choice lead to his death, and also the beginning of his new life in a new world. EunWol finds himself in a strange place inhabited by pointy ear foxes and with two moons in the sky. With help from Lang and the other villagers, EunWol works to return to Maple World and meet his friends once more.

Join EunWol in his journey, and his future filled with pain, grief, and tragedy.

Here is a video of EunWol’s tutorial, thanks to Spadow.

Knuckle and Fox Bead

EunWol is a pirate class, he uses Knuckles as his primary weapon and Fox Beads as his secondary weapon. His main stat is STR.

Using Spirit Skills

Many of EunWol’s skills can be used repeatedly, allowing for fast attacking speeds. In addition, when using Spirit skills, EunWol’s Spirit Bond will automatically activate as a buff, increasing his stats.

Cancel Skills

EunWol also has two Cancel Skills, Moment Step and Back Step. These can be used while attacking to instantly cancel the animation of the attack as well as creating distance. Take advantage of Cancel Skills in order to maximize efficiency!

How is it fair that the guy who was willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING to protect his loved ones:
            1. Doesn’t get to Rest in Peace
            2. Doesn’t get the happy ending
            3. Gets denied the afterlife, denied living in eternal bliss, and instead, his life in THIS world becomes a LIVING HELL
            4. Becomes LITERALLY nobody. His dearest friends, and family don’t even REMEMBER him, let alone grieve his supposed death, and legends are not told about him, unlike his comrades, even though he is EASILY the most deserving of a legend.
            5. He was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice, yet he made a sacrifice BEYOND ultimate
            6. Has to put up with tragedy after tragedy.
            7. not only does noone he’d ever met in maple worldd remember him, but it SOUNDS like he’ll lose all the friends and memory of his existence of those he’s met in Grandis after he leaves as well.
            8. he’s the greatest hero maple world’s EVER known, except he isn’t because maple world has NEVER known him as far as this timeline is concerned.

Hey Max, why is EunWol so weak? I remember during RED Nexon said they were working on trying to make all classes balanced, then they release OP Zero, and now EunWol? What kind of logic is this??

    • Anonymus
      January 8, 2014 at 4:34 am

EunWol’s not weak; he’s just weaker compared to Zero and all of the other classes that have come before. I agree that Nexon is doing a bad job of balancing out the jobs, but that’s no reason to call EunWol weak.

      • Savi
        January 8, 2014 at 5:06 pm

Yeah, I meant compared to Zero… Why say they will balance all classes (which they have tried to, at least EunWol is not OP) yet have Zero 4x (or even more) stronger than most classes… You are right EunWol isn’t weak, just weird that they release a OP class, then a balanced one right after?

    Dark Evan :

    8. he’s the greatest hero maple world’s EVER known, except he isn’t because maple world has NEVER known him as far as this timeline is concerned.

hmm, Maybe Alice, the world Tree and Transcendent of Life remembers him/can undo the curse later on?? after all is said and done and the blackmage is finally rid of for good?? She is the only being i would think is able to do something like that in maple world

Zero might be able to do it as well.

      • Raingul
        January 5, 2014 at 7:42 pm

I think only Zero could do it now. Seeing as they are the transcendent of time, they could look at his past. I really doubt the transcendent of life could do anything about this curse.

          January 8, 2014 at 10:12 pm

The reason i recommended the Transcendent of Life is because she knows all life, i have a feeling that the only being able to even remember him after he leaves would be her, you know? but i maybe another transcendent could do it?

You mean the world tree? Remember that the black mage himself is the transcendent of time! I know its kinda crazy, isn’t it?

            April 16, 2014 at 1:01 am

Unless he is the transcendent of light an I am just confusing myself..? I don’t even know anymore…

I am ****ing sad about EunWol’s story.
And I hereby tell you… a worst news.
      EunWol’s existence is sacrificed.
Which means, he don’t even have a past, neither a life.
so Alice or Zero can’t do anything about it.
…But I am not sure if Black Mage could do, and would do something to help him…

AND THE SADDEST PART IS I CANT GET BACK TO MOONBEAMMMMM DAMMMMM

I know I’m sick of waiting for the revamp and after all that time they were creating a 6th hero they could’ve got atleast one of the two knights revamped.

I like that link skill and love how cute the fox people look,
    Very over the top class.

Are bosses marked with Death Marker make you ignore damage reflect?

    • Savi
      January 6, 2014 at 8:46 pm

No only the skill itself and DoT effect bypass damage reflect. However, Soul Division can technically ignore damage reflect as you can attack the immobile soul created instead of the real monster.
